ARB Esperance 2 Compact Hard Shell Rooftop Tent

A rooftop tent has to fit the rig, open without a fight and stay out of the weather. Heavy tents add weight over the cab, and cold, wet nights turn condensation into a mess inside.

The ARB Esperance 2 weighs 130 lb and packs to 60 x 49 x 13.5 in under a heat-treated ABS shell. Inside, the fabric is 200GSM fire retardant poly cotton canvas, and the removable rain fly has a silver undercoat and a 9 ft water head rating. Two vents high in the tent move air, and an electrical control box adds two USB-C outlets and a 12V socket.

Bolt it to a BASE Rack or most crossbar systems with the included brackets, open it at camp with the key-lockable D-handles, and climb in on the telescopic ladder.
